The Women in Business Conference

Since its inception in 1999, the Women in Business Society has sought to encourage and support the active participation of women in the business sector. The forum hosts the annual Women in Business Conference to raise funds for deserving yet financially excluded women – the next generation of disrupters – to study at the UCT Graduate School of Business. We developed and executed a content-led marketing strategy to meet the client’s objectives, which included the visual identity, sponsorship proposal, digital marketing collateral, social media campaign and PR content for the hybrid event. The campaign met its targets, bringing in Deloitte, Accenture, RMB, UNIDO and other organisations as sponsors, as well as selling out tickets for the in-person event.
